Berkshire Residential Property Management Lead Alan King Named 2021 NAA Secretary

ARLINGTON, VA | February 2, 2021 – Alan P. King, the Head of Property Management for Berkshire Residential Investments, has begun his term as the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) 2021 Secretary.

King joins the NAA’s 2021 leadership with broad experience in the rental housing industry. Before serving at Berkshire, he held senior property management positions with McNeil Real Estate and Johnstown Properties and served as Regional Director of Operations for Archon Residential. In his roles, King spent significant time in renovation, expansion and repositioning of residential and real estate assets.

As Berkshire Residential’s Head of Property Operations, King currently oversees 600 property operations professionals across more than 20 markets. He has also served as Divisional Vice President for Berkshire’s Western Division and currently serves as a member of Berkshire’s Investment Committee.

“For more than four decades, Alan has been a dedicated professional in numerous facets of the rental housing industry,” said NAA President and CEO Bob Pinnegar. “He is a passionate and proven leader, and his vast experience will serve our leadership and industry well over the coming year.”

King earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Florida. He has served as the President of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and currently serves on the executive committees for the Atlanta Apartment Association and the National Multifamily Housing Council.
