Mental Health Sessions from Apartmentalize 2022
Given the importance of mental health, NAA is making available two session recordings from Apartmentalize 2022, "NAA’s Mental and Emotional Health Survey: Challenges Facing Today’s Workforce" and "Workplace Mental Wellbeing: Why and How to Support Your Team."
Mental Health First Aid Training Programs
The National Council’s Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program is widely viewed across North America as the premier mental health awareness training for individuals and corporations eager to provide lay-person support to family, friends, and co-workers in emotional distress. MHFA is a course that teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The National Council has trained more than 3 million individuals through this program, which has been officially recognized by the U.S. Senate.
Mental Health Policy
NAA partner organization Grace Hill has made available to NAA members a sample mental health policy that it provides for its employees and clients. NAA members can customize this policy to align with their organization’s policies and procedures.
NAA’s robust set of mental health resources for our members include on-demand webinars on our YouTube channel, articles in units Magazine, courses available through Visto, and an online Mental Health Resources Library maintained in partnership with IREM, NARPM and NMHC, sponsored by Yardi.
