Affordable owner, manager and investment firm Envolve held a back-to-school backpack drive north of Tulsa, Okla. Brookhaven Plaza Apartments in Bartlesville was home to the event where more than 100 backpacks with school supplies were donated to children in the community.

"The event was such a success and we had a large turnout," said Patrice Green, Community Manager, in a release. "It was a wonderful opportunity for us to get together and help Brookhaven's children and families start the school year on the right foot."

Included with the backpacks were glue sticks, rulers, notebooks and more. Also on hand was pizza, hot dogs and chips in the community room.

"It's a privilege to be able to give back to the Bartlesville community in this way," said Jeff Ezekiel, President of Envolve Communities, in the release. "We try to seize any opportunity to live out our tagline of ‘Making Communities Better Together,' and seeing the smiles on the kids' faces was absolutely priceless to our team."
