ARLINGTON, VA | June 22, 2023 – Denver’s Lannon Quintana of Waterton Residential captured his second Maintenance Mania™ national championship title earlier this month. Quintana, a member of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, was among 20 finalists who advanced from a pool of thousands of competitors to vie for the title of the world’s fastest maintenance technician. Mayroad’s Justin Heenan (Apartment Association of Greater Wichita) finished second and Jacob Paff of Village Green (Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association) placed third.
The 16th annual and final National Championship, hosted by the National Apartment Association (NAA) and presenting sponsor HD Supply, took place during Apartmentalize, NAA’s annual conference and exposition, held June 7 – 9 in Atlanta. Seven maintenance-focused challenges tested competitors’ skills and knowledge as they competed for the national title and nearly $20,000 in prizes courtesy of the presenting and national sponsors.
This year’s skills competitions included:

- Frigidaire® Icemaker Installation
- Halstead® Click Lock Plank Installation
- Kidde® Fire and Carbon Monoxide Safety Installation
- Kwikset® Key Control Deadbolt Test
- Pfister® Drain Installation
- Race Car Competition
