Apartments.com is introducing a new online tour scheduling feature available on its apartment listings. With this exciting new feature enabled, prospective renters can schedule a property tour directly in a community’s listing lead form. Apartments.com offers two types of online scheduling to accommodate customers: Book Tour and Request Tour.
The Book Tour option communicates directly with the property’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems to show real-time availability—making it quick and easy for prospective renters to schedule a tour. A prospective renter submits a lead along with their tour time and date preference, and it is immediately scheduled in the community’s CRM! This takes the additional step of contacting the office or leasing agent for dates and times out of the equation, which simplifies the renting process.
The Request Tour option requires no CRM integration. Instead, available dates and times are customized using the Apartments.com Customer Portal. With the Request Tour feature enabled, communities receive an extra email notification when a prospective renter submits a lead requesting a tour.
Traditional touring requests often require back-and-forth communication between prospective renters and property managers, risking a lost lead. Online scheduling enables management to fulfill the renter’s request immediately, eliminate the inefficient back-and-forth, and save time for both the prospective renter and property manager. Whether property managers use the Book Tour or Request Tour functionality, they can save time and receive high quality leads.
