The RPM Careers campaign is always working to spread the word about our dynamic industry—whether by creating materials to distribute at job fairs, producing videos featuring RPM professionals, or publishing articles like this in units Magazine. But we're now expanding our reach even more—to hosting unique events online.

The RPM Careers Facebook and LinkedIn pages have seen their engagement grow steadily since launching February 2015, with more followers, "likes," comments and shares than ever. Now capitalizing on this social media buzz, we're starting a broader conversation about RPM where future job candidates already gather online:

  • Aug. 4 was our debut on Facebook Live, when we live-streamed a panel discussion on the millennial workforce directly from the NAAEI conference in Memphis. More than 500 unique viewers tuned in to the two-hour session, which used newly released Gallup data as a springboard for discussion. The real-time video appeared in the news feeds of more than 3,000 Facebook users and is archived on the campaign's Facebook page.
  • On Aug. 23, the campaign hosted its first-ever virtual job fair, directly connecting recruiters from Dolben, Equity, Gables, Greystar, Lincoln, Pinnacle, Weidner and Winn with job seekers curious about RPM who logged on to their computers from the comfort of home. While final metrics are still being compiled, the event offered RPM recruiters a new tool to reach talented candidates nationwide.
  • And the campaign is eyeing Veterans Day in November as an opportunity to host another online event geared toward service members, veterans and their spouses who are searching for new careers in RPM.

According to recent statistics, more than 1.5 billion people worldwide use Facebook, 400 million use Instagram, 320 million use Twitter, and 100 million use LinkedIn each month.

Want to get in on the action? Sharing is caring! If you see posts that you like from RPM Careers or other Facebook pages you follow, consider sharing them with your own social network. Facebook prioritizes content shared between friends, so the more you share RPM Careers posts, the more your network will see them!
