Commonwealth Commercial Partners has announced Scott R. Keeton has joined the company as the Managing Director of Sales & Leasing, operating from the corporate headquarters in Richmond, Va. In his new role at CCP, he will be responsible for managing the firm’s sales and leasing operations in the Richmond and Hampton Roads regions, which currently includes more than 340 properties with over 4 million square feet and 3,900 acres under listing agreements. Keeton spent the last five years working in corporate real estate at Dominion Energy. He previously worked at Jones Lang Lasalle and GVA Advantis.

WinnCompanies has promoted Trevor Samios to Senior Vice President of a stand-alone resident services department, Connected Communities. Connected Communities has led innovations that have included first-in-the-nation programming milestones and a housing stability strategy. Since joining the company in 2017, Samios has expanded resident services capabilities of WinnResidential, growing offerings for the property management company with defined focus. In his new role, Samios will report directly to WinnResidential President Patrick Appleby, and expand the role that Connected Communities plays in new business development, client relationship management, new construction and property rehabilitation projects.

Community Preservation Partners has announced Tom Gibson, PMP, LEED AP, BD+C, as Senior Development Manager. Gibson is a Marine Corps veteran who is the youngest gubernatorial appointee in Virginia Housing’s history. Recognized as a “40 Under 40” honoree by both Alexandria and Arlington, Virginia Chambers of Commerce, he comes to CPP with extensive experience structuring and managing complex multifamily developments through creative financing strategies and public-private partnerships.

Community Preservation Partners has added Michael Anderson as Senior Acquisitions Associate. Anderson brings more than 10 years of real estate experience spanning commercial brokerage, investment sales and multifamily development in the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In his role at CPP, Anderson is responsible for identifying, analyzing and structuring the acquisition of affordable housing opportunities to grow CPP’s investment portfolio, expanding the company’s footprint east of the Rocky Mountains.

Marissa D. Worley has been promoted by P.B. Bell to Vice President, focusing on executing the company’s accounting operations, including overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions for corporate, development, and third-party-owned assets, managing internal and external property audits, and tax coordination of company-owned assets. In addition, Worley is responsible for maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the firm’s reported financial results. She joined P.B. Bell in 2018, bringing 13 years of accounting experience. Previously Worley worked in homebuilding, manufacturing and staffing.

P.B. Bell has hired Alex Popovic as the Director of Land Acquisition. He is responsible for identifying, sourcing and coordinating land acquisitions for future multifamily and build-to-rent P.B. Bell developments. Before joining the team, Popovic was the Vice President of Development for a local multifamily development firm where he oversaw and managed the buildout of over 1,200 multifamily units, and he also founded and ran a commercial real estate brokerage company.

Anne Healy has been hired by P.B. Bell as the Director of Development, who is responsible for managing the entitlement process and receipt of permits for all development projects. Healy works closely with the land acquisition and construction teams at P.B. Bell to ensure that each project stays on schedule and within budget, is well-designed and is of luxury quality. She has more than 15 years of experience in real estate and development, beginning in sales and management, and transitioning to development and finance. Before joining P.B. Bell, Healy was VP of Development at Cardon Development Group and a Senior Associate at Ambrose Capital Group.

Newmark has announced Angela Bates has been promoted to Managing Director. Bates specializes in the acquisition and disposition of income-producing multihousing properties. Bates has worked in the real estate industry for over 16 years. She has completed some of the most significant multifamily transactions to take place in the Las Vegas market, including Altura on Tropicana (now Bridges on Tropicana) for Tower 16, Morgan Stanley and Henley, Park Place (now Milo) for International Asset Managers and most recently Firenze Apartments for Ovation Development purchased by Keller Investment Properties.

Eric J. Kim has joined Haven Realty Capital as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. At Haven Realty Capital, Kim will focus on expanding the firm’s equity and debt platforms through his relationships with institutional partners and equity investors. He will also play a key role in the management of the company’s existing discretionary SFR fund business. Kim brings to Haven more than two decades of experience in the SFR industry and real estate capital markets. Prior to joining Haven Realty Capital, Kim was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer for SFR investment management platforms RealtyAlgo and InvestReal.

Meaghan Zambrano has joined Valet Living as Vice President - Experience. She will be responsible for overseeing and creating consistently positive and impactful experiences for residents, clients and associates. Prior to joining Valet Living, Zambrano worked in the financial services sector for over 15 years and covered a range of various positions from working in fraud, collections, and being an underwriter, to managing a call center, working in business support operations, and developing a customer experience team from scratch. Zambrano will be based in Newark, Del., supporting the corporate headquarters and the broader Valet Living team nationwide.

Matt Guilford has joined Valet Living as Vice President – Marketing. He will be responsible for brand and messaging, lead management, communications, strategic positioning and market insights. Prior to joining Valet Living, Guilford led marketing for several industry-leading companies, both publicly traded and private equity-backed. Notable assignments included marketing lead for Sea Ray Boats, Bayliner Boats and ATW, a $1 billion-plus Bain Capital holding. Guilford will be based in Frisco, Texas, supporting the corporate headquarters in Tampa, Fla., and the broader Valet Living team nationwide.

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation announced Irwin Laroza has joined the company as a Senior Director in Salt Lake City. Most recently, Laroza was a U.S. Small Business Administration business development officer with Meadows Bank in Las Vegas.
