As an industry, we need to look beyond the résumé.

Two sources of new employees—recent college graduates and skilled candidates in other areas who are looking to change careers—are often overlooked because of their lack of experience in residential property management (RPM).

 

But they all have something unique to bring to the industry.

Now you can help these talented candidates start a successful career in RPM with your company! The NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) has created the RPM Career Launcher program to provide otherwise qualified candidates with this desired experience.

The value of the RPM Career Launcher program is twofold: It trains talented candidates and gives them the opportunity to show what they can do on the job, and it allows companies to improve their bench strength and to see how candidates perform before hiring them full-time.

How It Works. After successfully completing a training course based on components of NAAEI designation programs, candidates are matched with participating companies and work as temporary employees for 400 hours, receiving biweekly performance reviews.

After 10 weeks, a company can extend an offer to the candidate for a full-time position, at no additional cost. The company gains a new hire who is familiar with RPM and the company and is ready to grow in the industry.

Through a digital marketing and social media campaign, RPM Careers is driving thousands of qualified candidates to RPMcareers.org to consider a career in RPM. The RPM Career Launcher program will offer candidates the training and expertise they need to start a career and thrive in companies like yours.
