Alpharetta’s Alan King Named 2024 NAA Chair-Elect

ARLINGTON, Va. | January 23, 2024 – Alan P. King, CPM, Partner, Head of Property Management with Berkshire Residential Investments, has begun his term as the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) 2024 Chair-Elect. He was formally installed at NAA’s annual Assembly of Delegates, held in San Diego in November.

King’s dedication to leadership stems from his impressive experience across the rental housing industry. Before serving with Berkshire, he held senior property management positions with McNeil Real Estate and Johnstown Properties and served as Regional Director of Operations for Archon Residential. In his work, King has specialized in renovation, expansion and repositioning of residential and real estate assets.

At Berkshire, King oversees 800 property operations professionals across nearly 25 markets. He has also served as Divisional Vice President for Berkshire’s Western Division and currently serves as a member of Berkshire’s Investment Committee.

King earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Florida. He has served as the President of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and has also served on the executive committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council. King also served as Chairman of the Atlanta Apartment Association in 2022.
