See how Lendlease Communities is making residents feel at home through vast amenity offerings.

No amenities are disappearing because of the pandemic: Lendlease Communities’ privatized military housing portfolio is responding to current trends by upgrading existing amenities to meet resident preferences rather than completely replacing them. In a post-COVID world, our residents have a strong desire to connect with their neighbors. They are seeking spaces where they can interact such as community centers, parks and children’s play areas. At Lendlease Communities, we are focused on creating places that are accessible, inclusive and promote physical activity.

Outdoor and active spaces continue to be the number one amenity that our residents seek. At Lendlease Communities, we continue to create more green spaces on our installations by offering amenities like walking trails, pools and more extensive athletic centers. We are also adding more dog parks, community gardens and updated community centers to our existing amenity offerings to support resident and community engagement.

These are just a few of the exciting amenity upgrades making their way across the Lendlease privatized military housing portfolio:

  • Campbell Crossing at Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, Ky.): New neighborhoods will include an all-inclusive playground, dog park and walking paths. Two current playgrounds have been transformed into agility courses.
  • Cavalry Family Housing at Fort Cavazos (Fort Cavazos, Texas): Next year, two tennis courts will be transformed into pickleball courts. Additionally, the new homes being constructed at Fort Cavazos during the next few years will have access to a community garden, tot lot, dog park and an all-inclusive playground.
  • Island Palm Communities (Oahu, Hawaii): Lendlease is adding five new dog parks.
  • Knox Hills at Fort Knox (Fort Knox, Ky.): Two traditional playgrounds are being renovated into an all-inclusive playground, providing a fun experience for all children. A pickleball court and an agility course will be added with upcoming renovations.
  • Tierra Vista Communities at Los Angeles Air Force Base (San Pedro, Calif.): Two tennis courts have been adjusted to also include basketball courts. We also transformed one playground into an agility course to cater to a wider age range.

We are always collecting and implementing the resident feedback we gather through extensive research and our numerous voice-of-the-customer initiatives. Across our portfolio we have Resident Advisory Boards (RABs) in place to help streamline conversations about how we can best assist our residents and improve service. The 100 RAB members across our installations act as our eyes and ears and continue to be at the center of our resident engagement strategy. With renovations, we take into consideration feedback around how our current amenities are being used and what would enhance them. In our new neighborhoods, amenities are typically driven by social sustainability initiatives that focus on bringing residents together to create a sense of community, foster friendships and encourage inter-action with our community management staff.

Across our Lendlease Communities portfolio, upgrades to amenities are completed at no additional cost to residents.
