The UK Apartment Association (UKAA) is now the Association for Rental Living (ARL). Originally founded in 2016 with the support and affiliation of the National Apartment Association (NAA), ARL's rebrand better aligns itself with the rental sector of its member base, which includes build-to-rent, urban and suburban rental living, co-living and more.

“The underlying principle of who the ARL represents is institutionally backed, purpose-built, professionally managed rental homes of all types and the name reflects this – elevating rental living with politicians, policymakers, and consumers," said ARL CEO Brendan Geraghty in a release.

The nine-month rebrand process that included membership interviews and process evaluation concluded on March 20 with the release of the new brand. The familiar blue and green hues will remain with forward, right-facing chevrons focusing on progress and commitment within the "A's" window of the ARL rebrand logo.
