Grumble... Mumble... Stumble: Conquering Training's Toughest Challenges
Employees say the opportunity to learn new things is their biggest motivator. Why then is it so difficult to garner enthusiasm for training? When employees “grumble” before training (lack of learning motivation), “mumble” while in session (lack of learning engagement), and “stumble” when attempting to apply new skills (lack of learning effectiveness), it’s obvious something isn’t working. Traditional corporate training models have their drawbacks, but this session demonstrates how to create a successful learning culture and gain effective buy-in from every level of the organization.
Reputation Management Step Change: Embracing and Leveraging Employee-Generated Reviews
In today’s world, we check online reviews for almost everything, so it’s no surprise that more than 80% of all job-seekers read employee-generated company reviews to learn about potential employers. While these reviews are a new frontier in reputation management, many of the lessons we learn from managing resident reviews apply here too. Understanding and participating in these company review platforms gives you important insight into your employees’ experience and is a valuable recruitment and reputation tool that can take your brand to the next level.
