Rinnai Pledges $50K for Scholarships

Rinnai America Corporation has donated an additional $50,000 to help military families.

Leading tankless water heater brand Rinnai America Corporation continues to give back to the local community. Since its partnership with Folds of Honor started in 2018, the program has helped offer educational scholarship to children and spouses of fallen military service members. Nearly 80 recipients have been awarded $400,000 during the past four years. Rinnai also announced an additional $50,000 donation.

“Our engagement with Folds of Honor is meaningful to us both as an organization and as individuals. We are deeply passionate about finding and feeding new talent into the building trades and partnering with Folds of Honor allows us to do so while also supporting veterans,” said Frank Windsor, President, Rinnai America Corporation, in a release.

There are currently 42 students in trade schools on scholarships through the Rinnai program.

“Their involvement directly helps students interested in the trades and is a testament to Rinnai’s commitment to their industry. 100% of Rinnai’s donation goes directly towards those seeking a career in the trades. We’re so humbled and honored to serve people in need and having companies like Rinnai support our cause helps us move one step closer towards serving more,” said Lt. Colonel Dan Rooney, Founder and CEO of Folds of Honor, in the announcement.

Founded in 2007, Folds of Honor has helped more than 35,000 students, raising $32 million for 7,000 scholarships in 2021.
