Jackiw served as Chairman of the Board of the NAA in 2013 and President of the NAA Education Institute in 2008-09.
Milhaus, an award-winning developer specializing in Class A residential buildings, announced June 14 that President of Milhaus Management Alex Jackiw has been inducted into the NAA Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony was that day at the NAA conference in San Diego.
Induction into the NAA Hall of Fame represents the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a rental housing professional. Jackiw is the second woman and 20th person to be inducted.
“Somehow it’s mind-boggling to be recognized for doing something you truly love – something that’s been a passion for my entire career,” Jackiw says. “I would hope that the public recognition ignites that passion in others in the industry to give back, embrace diversity and inclusion, and make lifelong learning a goal. I have always believed that education is the gateway to success and those that increase their knowledge will excel in this business. And for me, my passion for educating others is about the future of the industry – leaving a lasting impact on others long after I am gone.”
Milhaus CEO Tad Miller calls Jackiw an asset to the Milhaus team and congratulates her on this achievement.
“Milhaus is fortunate to have Alex and her team,” Miller says. “They’ve helped us grow our footprint nationally through their expertise and drive to succeed. I applaud this recognition and Alex’s accomplishments. She’s not only a positive and professional force for Milhaus but the industry as a whole.”
