NAA Strategic Plan Update: Focus on Stakeholders
By Jeff Lowry
In June, I introduced to you that NAA is embarking on a three-year strategic plan. It was created by a 12-person task force comprised of owners and operators, industry supplier partners, association executives and NAA Past Presidents. I had the privilege of serving as Chair for this exciting experience.
This month, the focus is on creating an outstanding, consistent stakeholder experience.
Our industry has evolved over the past decades and is impacted by the emergence of national and regional owner operators and property managers. Those firms want to ensure that high-quality information, programs and services are available to their employees regardless of where they conduct business. The Stakeholder Experience Task Force, led by NAA Chairman-Elect Mike Clow, is exploring opportunities to strengthen our affiliate network to do just that.
NAA also wants to improve how we interact with our stakeholders. We are investing in technology to improve our stakeholders’ online experiences. These enhancements will improve our capability to transact NAA business online, including enhanced mobile applications. We have already introduced the first version of our member portal, which focuses on the Click & Lease program. Click & Lease customers can now sign up new properties to the program and pay their invoices. Look for future enhancements throughout the year.
