The National Apartment Association (NAA) praises the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to combat discrimination and inequality in housing. Discrimination has no place in the rental housing industry and we welcome the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the Administration to ensure Americans of all backgrounds have equal access to quality, affordable housing.
Addressing fundamental issues, like removing barriers to construction and increasing funding for housing programs, will help all residents and strengthen the quality and supply of rental housing. By working together to tackle these important issues, we can expand upon the pillars of the Fair Housing Act to meet today’s needs and create a stronger housing industry for generations to come.
