In a joint effort, members of the non-profit Hatching Hope, Acadiana Apartment Association and Chadwell Supply visited Lafayette and Lake Charles, La., from September 9 to 11 to help residents following Hurricane Laura.

More than $10,000 was raised to provide a 40,000 pounds of needed hurricane relief supplies. Chadwell Supply provided trash bags, clean-up supplies and bags to deliver care packages to those in need.

During their time in Louisiana, Hatching Hope along with the Acadiana Apartment Association were able to conduct the relief supply giveaway for residents who had relocated to Lafayette due to their homes being destroyed in Lake Charles, and then visited Lake Charles delivering supplies directly to the apartment communities.
