The National Apartment Association’s (NAA) Policy Outlook report is a comprehensive, monthly update that examines the legislative and regulatory issues most affecting the rental housing industry. This new resource includes valuable insights from the NAA Government Affairs staff, highlights the latest data and focuses on operational issues of importance that could hurt your ability to successfully manage your business, lead to compliance-related challenges or increase your legal risk.

In the April edition, the NAA policy team breaks down: slipping rent collections amid pandemic-related stress; financial assistance for renters; the threat of rent control; strengthening Fair Housing Act protections; efforts to remove resident screening; and several other emerging threats and policies.

This report is intended to highlight NAA’s federal advocacy program and the work of the NAA affiliate network to protect the industry’s interests at all levels of government. Check out the latest issue here, and look for a new update every month in the Apartment Advocate on the NAA website
