Now available are a resource library offering information and tools to address mental health challenges, as well as an employer’s guide to COVID-19 and emerging workplace issues.

As part of the COVID-19 Rental Housing Support Initiative, a resource library is now available that focuses on mental health and provides information and tools to address challenges, because mental health is as vital as physical health, especially in times of crises.

The first part of this resource library focuses on isolation, which can lead to loneliness and other mental and physical distress, and will be followed with additional resources (released over the next few weeks) on the following topics: resiliency, anxiety and financial stress.

Also now available for members of NAA (login required) is the "Employer’s Guide to COVID-19 and Emerging Workplace Issues: Year 2", a free e-book that addresses the choices employers made due to the pandemic and highlights the next phase of employment decisions faced when restarting businesses and reintegrating employees into the workforce.

The COVID-19 Rental Housing Support Initiative, sponsored by Yardi, involves four organizations—Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM); National Apartment Association (NAA); National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM); and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC)—that came together to build a series of solutions in key support areas to help the industry survive and thrive through the pandemic and beyond.

Visit the mental health resource library,  view the "Employer’s Guide to COVID-19 and Emerging Workplace Issues: Year 2" and access additional resources as they become available.
