Karen Hollinger is Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and is responsible for leading large strategic corporate initiatives. For more than 20 years with AvalonBay, Karen has led several functions and departments at AvalonBay, including technology and operations, establishing an industry-leading shared services center. Prior to AvalonBay, Ms. Hollinger was a Senior Manager at KPMG, with a partnership focused on accounting systems and IT strategy with clients in the US and in emerging markets and started their technology consulting practice in Beijing, China.
Dave Bend, Global Business Development, Google
Dave focuses on global enterprise partnerships at Google. In this role, he develops new ways to reach customers with Google's products and services. Most recently, he has been leading Google's work to advance hardware and services to rental housing owners and operators. Dave has an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, a master’s in public policy from Johns Hopkins University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis.
Bill Palmer, VP of Merchandising, Home Depot Pro
Bill began his career with The Home Depot in 1994 as an hourly associate. Over his 26-year career with the company, he has served as an Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, Merchant, Senior Merchant, and DMM for both plumbing and outdoor garden. Bill has served in his current role as VP of Merchandising, Home Depot Pro since January 2019.
