NAAEI is offering a webinar to help property owners, operators and maintenance technicians stay on top of changes to EPA rules and regulations for CFC Certification. Throughout 2019, the live webinar, CFC Section 608 Changes 2018, will be offered once a month, led by Julio Herrera, so that you can find a time that best fits your busy schedule. The webinar will include comprehensive information regarding the changes in Section 608 Regulations and CFC Certification that went into effect in 2018 and 2019. 

 It is the responsibility of property owners and managers to stay up-to-date on this new information. Non-compliance could result in up to $37,500 per day in fines, so don’t delay!

About the instructor: Julio Herrera

Julio Herrera, co-founder of AirCon AcademyJulio Herrera is the co-founder of AirCon Academy and has been an experienced vocational technical skills instructor for over 30 years.

In 1979, Herrera enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he acquired necessary skills in maintaining and servicing various types of air conditioning systems, air handlers, chillers, hydraulics/pneumatics systems, pumps and boilers.

After the Navy, Herrera decided to continue his career as a building engineer with Washington Metropolitan Air Transit Authority (WMATA) where he developed a passion for teaching. He felt strongly about sharing and passing his knowledge to others and taught HVAC systems, Refrigeration, Electrical Motors, Schematics, Basic Electricity, and Heat Pumps, as well as prep courses for CFC Universal and R410-A and other refrigerants to over 9,000 students during his teaching career.

His License and Certifications include:
