DEI Week 2024 - Don’t Talk About It, Be About It! Busting Performative DEI
Who should attend: Property Owners, Onsite Management, Affiliates, HR Professionals
Why it’s important: When the diversity of your hiring practices is not reflected at the executive level or you’ve added a DE&I Program but never implemented their recommendations, these are both examples of performative DE&I. These performative acts have no true impact on organizational policy and present implicit biases against professional growth which can hamper productivity and impact your bottom line.
What you’ll get out of it:
-
Understanding of the difference between performative and impactful DE&I initiatives.
-
How to identify and overcome the common pitfalls with DE&I initiatives.
-
How to champion genuine DE&I transformation within an organization.
Date and Time: Tuesday October 22, 2 p.m. ET
