UPDATE as of August 27, 2020 - NAA has decided to cancel 2020 Apartmentalize in Dallas.

Every year, the apartment industry looks forward to connecting and celebrating with colleagues and partners from around the country at Apartmentalize. Unfortunately, this year, given the growing concerns around COVID-19 in Texas and after much consideration of the health and safety of everyone in the industry, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel an onsite Apartmentalize, which was scheduled for November 4-6 in Dallas.

We are as disappointed as you are that we are unable to hold this event in person. The most important thing all of us can do is to stay safe and focus on helping each other through the current challenges. Please know that NAA remains committed to finding ways for our members to collaborate and stay connected even though we can’t be together in person. APTvirtual is one way we will do that.

What and when is APTvirtual?

NAA is excited to launch it’s first dynamic full-scale virtual event called APTvirtual, which will allow attendees to experience the event from anywhere in the world. APTvirtual will take place November 2-6, 2020. We will provide the industry with the same great content and networking opportunities as we have every year on the virtual platform. APTvirtual will be my company’s first virtual conference as a virtual exhibitor. Will there be training?

NAA team will be scheduling an APTvirtual exhibit training to take place on September 24. Additional information will be shared in the coming days.

What virtual event platform will APTvirtual be on?

APTvirtual will be on Pathable.

How will my event sponsorship translate to APTvirtual?

A number of Apartmentalize in-person sponsorships have been converted to “Hybrid” sponsorships, meaning they also have an APTvirtual component to them. For sponsorship that are not “Hybrid” opportunities, the NAA team will be reaching out to your sponsor contact directly with more information on other options. Are there sponsorships for APTvirtual?

Yes, there are APTvirtual sponsorships.

How do I register my virtual team for their exhibitor full conference and/or virtual booth personnel badges for APTvirtual?

As an APTvirtual exhibitor, you will receive unlimited full conference virtual registrations for your team. This will allow you to fully experience APTvirtual with attendees and learn about the emerging trends in the apartment industry.
The primary contact on your APTvirtual exhibitor account will be provided a registration code that they will share with their teams to register.

How many attendees are registered?

To date we currently have 2,036 registered attendees.

Can one person register all booth staff or attendees from my company, or do they have to do it?

Each person will have register themselves with their own NAA account. The steps on how to register is in the Welcome Email the primary contact should have received within 24 hours of submitting the booth contract.

We have registered, so how long will it take to receive the welcome email?

Within 24 hours, you should receive the Welcome email upon submitting the booth contract.

When is APTvirtual live for attendees?

Attendees will gain access to the virtual platform starting the week of October 19. They will have this time to get acquainted with the platform itself. Please have your booth ready as they will be able to view your booth at this time. This is also when exhibitors can start reaching out to attendees to schedule meetings. The official dates of APTvirtual are November 2 – 6.

Are we able to access the leads and visits at any time during the show?


Is it possible to send people from our virtual booth to content on other websites, or does all content have to live on NAA virtual booth website?

Yes, you can upload links onto your virtual booth that can send people from your booth to content on other websites.

Since all exhibitors get full access "badges", will we get a breakout of attendees vs exhibitors from the total registrants?

Yes, we can provide that breakdown to you

To man the booth does someone have to have zoom running already or can they start a zoom call once someone expresses interest?

Yes, the attendee expectation is to be able to click on the “Enter Virtual Tradeshow Booth” button and have someone ready to talk to. It would be ideal to have someone manning the booth during the open expo hall hours, which is 1 – 4 p.m. If a zoom meeting has not been started by your booth staff, the attendee will just see a message saying they cannot join the meeting. They may click on “Request More Information” to send you a message, and their email addresses will be provided to you. Or you can check to see who visited your booth on the “Views” tab.

Can you help provide more detail between the "walk up" zoom meetings versus meetings that can be planned in advance?

An attendee can “walks up” to your booth, view your page and click on” “Enter Virtual Tradeshow Booth” at any time during the Expo Hall hours of 1 – 4 p.m. EST. When you plan a meeting in advance, you as the exhibitor can set the specific time to meet.

How many people can be in each zoom breakout room?

Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, or they can allow participants to select and enter breakout sessions as they please. There is a maximum of 100 participants allowed in a room.
