Apartmentalize, NAA's annual education conference, is the premier source for educating professionals of all job functions within the rental housing industry. In addition to our great education sessions, keynote speakers and Game Changers, we hope you had a great experience. The NAA Excellence Awards, or Excels, are annual awards that recognize leadership in the rental housing industry, celebrating builders, industry professionals and affiliated apartment associations that make unique contributions to our industry.

Attendees were ready to bid at the NAAPAC Silent Auction in support of the National Apartment Association Political Action Committee (NAAPAC). New items were added daily and included authentic, hand-signed sports memorabilia, movie collectibles, music, jewelry and so much more!

This will be Jeremy's 8th Apartmentalize Conference. As the 2018 Next Gen Chair, he's thrilled to attend Apartmentalize this year. With about 10,000 of his industry friends converging on San Diego, this is going to be one of our best conferences yet. He is looking forward to learning, sharing ideas in my session on Thursday, and socializing!

Charity Zierten is on the NAA Marketing & Communications Committee for the first time this year! Charity became the Director of Marketing for @bgmultifamily in 2016. She has attended #Apartmentalize on and off since 2009! Charity began her #multifamily career at Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions in 2005. She spent time working with the Apartment Finder team as the Operations Manager of the Community Sherpa program in 2009, and became a leading industry speaker, trainer and consultant at Socially Engaged Marketing in 2011.

Stephanie is so excited to be a Social Media Ambassador again this year. This is her 4th Apartmentalize conference. There are so many exciting sessions to attend this year. She is really excited to see Alex Rodriguez. She have been a fan of his since he played for the Seattle Mariners way back when. Stephanie is originally from the Pacific Northwest and it is super exciting to her to see that he is a part of this amazing industry as well. Her one tip to offer is to make sure that you take in as much as you can, pick up nuggets of knowledge and bring them back to share with your teams. There is so much going on try not to get overwhelmed.

Kendra has lost track of how many previous Apartmentalizes she's been to, but probably nearing 10 at this point. Her tip: get the NAA Rewind. There are too many good sessions, and you're guaranteed to want to go to multiple ones that are happening at the same point. She is most excited to see Mike Rowe!

- Ann Padget, Vice President of Marketing, ePremium Insurance
Ann is the Vice President of Marketing for ePremium Insurance. She lives in Cincinnati, OH and am often found at tradeshows across the country. Her first NAA Education Conference was in 2004, which makes this her 15th NAA if her math is right. Her favorite part of the whole week is the networking. The Opening Party and Three Dogwood Night are definite must dos at any NAA, and San Diego is no exception. This year though she am looking forward to the Community Service project on Saturday. Military families are near and dear to her heart. Her brother, brother-in-law, step-father, grand father and many cousins have all served. She looks forward to celebrating the Military Families.

Tony is a California native, living in the great state of Texas! He’s a multi-family pro, and prides himself in pushing the envelopment on technology and innovation. He has a passion for leadership, technology and his beautiful family. He was also named, “The Most Interesting Man in Property Management in 2009!” He has attended three NAA conferences and loves the education and the networking they offer!
