The National Apartment Association is offering all current NAA Forms Software users the option of upgrading to the NAA Forms Online program.
Why should I convert to NAA Forms Online?
NAA Forms Online is the web based version of the National Lease Program. It is completely accessed over the Internet via Blue Moon software. NAA Forms Online contains all of the same forms currently available in the NAA Windows program, but NAA Forms Online has several additional features exclusive to the online program.
- All form and program updates are activated in NAA Forms Online automatically, which ensures the user is always accessing the latest version of any form. The user no longer needs to install or download any updated software.
- Since it is a web based product, you may have multiple users accessing the same program simultaneously, even from different locations.
- Clicks are shared, instead of being computer specific. The click counter is shared throughout the license, which enables multiple users to access the same click counter.
- Your leasing information is securely stored on our servers – no more loss of data from computer crashes.
- Accept credit card payments for online rental applications and execute online leasing with electronic signatures (if your property management software supports this feature).
- Compatible with Macintosh computers running Mac OS 10.2 or higher.
- Interfaces with most property management programs.
What system requirements are needed to run NAA Forms Online?
Minimum Requirements are:
- IBM-compatible PC (Windows 95/98/Me or NT/2000/XP/Vista) or Macintosh computer (Mac OS 10.2 or higher).
- 800 x 600 screen resolution (1024 x 768 recommended).
- High-speed connection to Internet (e.g., cable/DSL/T1).
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (PC) or Mozilla Firefox (PC/Mac)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.1 required to print forms (Adobe Reader 7 or higher recommended)
- Ink-Jet/Laser printer with ability to print on letter & legal-size paper and maximum printable area of at lease 8" x 13½". (Laser printers require a minimum of 2 MB of memory).
How does the upgrade process work?
If you wish to upgrade to NAA Forms Online, contact Blue Moon Software at 800-772-1004 to have the conversion form faxed to you. The conversion form requires the user to assign a User ID and Password for the account to be used as part of their login information. Blue Moon Software will then program the NAA Forms Online account to accept that login information. Blue Moon Software will e-mail the user with instructions on converting the data and clicks.

NETWORKED computers will need to run the conversion program from the server computer that houses the data.

NON-NETWORKED computers will need to run the conversion program from the computer that houses the most data. Running the conversion from more than one computer will overwrite any previously converted data with the last data converted.

Online Rental Application users must notify your web developer to forward the online applications to your NAA Forms Online account. If not, you will NOT be able to open any Online Rental Applications within NAA Forms Online.

Will my annual license renewal date or fee change?
Your annual license renewal date will remain the same. You can view your license expiration date within NAA Forms Software by choosing PREFERENCES/SYSTEM CONFIGURATION. Your annual license renewal fee will increase by $75.00. The increased renewal fee will be reflected in your next annual license renewal invoice. You will not be charged any fee to convert to NAA Forms Online by October 31, 2008.
The annual license fee for our Windows software will increase from $100 to $175 effective January 1, 2009.
Over ninety percent of customers are using NAA Forms Online instead of our Windows software. We encourage all Windows users to upgrade to Forms Online.
