Trade Shows Work

 

As a marketing medium, trade shows offer an efficient opportunity to cultivate new business, connect with existing customers and to get your company name in front of a larger audience.

NAA Green Conference
The 2013 NAA Green Conference is intended to bring together industry professionals to network and share insight on strategies that can help to improve their energy efficiency through environmentally friendly steps and policies.

For multifamily onsite professionals, the conference provides real-case, best-case practices from communities that have discovered powerful ROI through the steps that they have taken, including saving money on energy and satisfying their environmental-conscious resident base.

For suppliers, the event creates opportunities to share with industry professionals the ways that their products and services can affordably enable such practices to occur, as well as them sharing the strategies that they see in their clients’ efforts.

If you are interested in presenting at the upcoming April NAA Green Conference, the submissions end November 16, 2012.

Interested in the Off Campus Student Housing Market?
We have the student housing leaders gathering at the NAA Student Housing Conference in February in Las Vegas. The event is shaping up to deliver a focused, quality audience. There are booth and sponsorship opportunities available.

Positive Changes to the NAA Exposition June Schedule
June will be here before we all know it! The audience is diverse in job functions and has deep and wide buying power across many product categories.

To accommodate, the more than 6,200 attendees at the NAA Education Conference and Exposition and to respond to attendee and exhibitor survey feedback, we have made schedule changes to host more time to visit with exhibitors. 

Also for San Diego, we once again have the co-located NAA Maintenance Mania National Competition. Check out the highlight video of the 2012 MM competition.  

We now have extended hours for the NAA Exposition on both Thursday and Friday. Please see the schedule. The famous and energetic Conference Kick Off is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19 to provide for attendees to gather the evening before and start the networking.

Free Appointment System - myNAA Planner
In addition to the extended hours, we have a new free service for attendees and exhibitors to secure pre-qualified one-on-one appointments thru the myNAA Planner. The new service will allow all to review the attendee list including demographic details (job function, title) and make pre-event outreach to schedule private meetings with each other within the myNAA Planner.

More Advertising Inventory for June
Our team has expanded some advertising opportunities and consolidated sales processes to better serve you. For 2013, Liz Barrett can also discuss pre-event and onsite advertising with you including the exhibitor listings enhancements and online maps.

National Suppliers Council (NSC)

 

NAA National Suppliers Council is a group of 190 (and growing) suppliers to the multifamily housing industry that invest in a premium NAA membership. See the NAA NSC Council membership list.

2012 NAA Survey of Income & Expenses Data Now Available

The 2012 NAA Survey of Income & Expenses is now available. The survey includes an executive summary, detailed data, reports and charts about rental communities. A total of 4,645 properties containing 1,159,874 units are represented in this year’s report. Data was reported for 4,114 market rent properties containing 1,087,228 units and 531 subsidized properties containing 72,646 units.

The executive summary appeared in the Aug. issue of units magazine. If you missed it, take a look at the buying insights.
