Digested from “ZOM Announces 349-Unit Luxury Multifamily Development Project in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor”
Baltimore’s rent growth has been less than stellar amid minimal job growth, and its vacancy rates rose year over year in the first quarter. But analysts predict the region will see some improvement in rent growth and vacancy rates in the coming years, as this and other projects come online.
Construction will begin this month on the luxury Banner Hill Apartments development, located in the Baltimore’s Banner Hill neighborhood. The 349-unit building will be located near premier areas such as the Inner Harbor and Historic Federal Hill, as well as retail, entertainment, cultural and eating establishments.
Apartment amenities will include an e-lounge, fitness center and sports simulator on the main floor, and courtyards and a swimming pool on the second floor. The units, ranging from 528 to 1,325 square feet, will feature island kitchens, stainless steel appliances, custom stand-up showers, granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring, walk-in closets and private balconies.
