The Preiss Company is getting high marks for the new outdoor barbecue and completely renovated clubhouse at its University Village Slippery Rock student housing community in Pennsylvania. The off-campus complex is owned and operated by Preiss, which contracted with Texas-based J4 Development to build the new amenity. Adam Byrley, Director of Leasing & Programming for Preiss, and Brian Levy, head of New Business Development for J4, recently sat down to discuss this project and to give operators advice on how to make such an addition pay off.
