This morning, I made the short walk from NAA Headquarters, in near-frigid Washington DC weather, to the Chick-fil-A at Ballston Mall so I could stand in line for my free Spicy Chicken Biscuit. Word had spread through our office yesterday that our local and cherished Chick-fil-A would be giving away a free breakfast sandwich every day this week.
I developed a nice addiction to Chick-fil-A in college and I am now admitting that I pretty much stand in line for anything free. In my experience I have found that some people are as obnoxious as possible about free stuff, which borders on pure gluttony. It makes me uneasy. I am in the I-secretly-want-things-for-free-but-I’m-not-going-to-be-a-pain-about-it crowd. So sorry oatmeal, free breakfast sandwich wins today.
And the Chick-fil-A employees all had to deal with customer after customer who just wanted the free Spicy Chicken Biscuit. No coffee. No hash browns. Just free.
Imagine a free offer with no strings attached? Those are the best. No annoying presentation to sit through so you can have a nice steak dinner (ala my parents). No tricks into a timeshare in the Arctic Circle in January. No awkward pitches (Hello, is Julian Baton available?).
We all like free stuff. Swag. Loot. Whatever you want to call it.
So I’ll be Chick-fil-A for a minute… NAA offers its affiliates free websites. NAA (I should just tell you it’s me) will take your Web content and build a website for your organization. Here are some details:
