EdR, a national developer, owner and manager of collegiate housing, promoted the following key executives: Scott P. Casey to Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer; J. Drew Koester to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer; Christine J. Richards to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Matthew S. Fulton to Vice President of Operations; and Joshua J. Wilson to Vice President of Development.
The Philadelphia Housing Authority hired Dr. Samuel Little as its Deputy Executive Director of Resident and Community Services. Little, named Dec. 20, has held positions in employment, public housing, research and human services combined with university teaching and consulting. He served as Associate Deputy Director at the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, Director of Resident Services at the District of Columbia Housing Authority and President of Community Vision Incorporated, respectively.
Colliers International launched its National Student Housing Group in January and hired two of the nation’s top student housing real estate brokerage professionals, Dorothy Joffe Jackman and Travis Prince. Jackman transitioned to brokerage nine years ago after a six-year career in student housing management. Prince has handled more than $500 million worth of student housing and multifamily housing assignments.
Michaelson Real Estate Partners hired Jay Massirman as President and Chief Operating Officer. Michaelson manages 7,000 units with executive offices in Jacksonville and Miami. Massirman has more than 27 years’ experience as a Partner in a variety of real estate opportunities in excess of $300 million.
Riverstone Residential Group hired two key leadership associates in California, Stephen Winsby and Susan Dow. Based in South Coast Metro, Calif., Executive Vice President Winsby oversees Riverstone’s California-based property and corporate financial performance while leading the state’s client and associate support teams. Senior Vice President Dow, who will work out of the company’s Rocklin, Calif., office, monitors its California property operations and performance. Winsby has administered multi-state portfolios on the West Coast and held leadership positions at Trammell Crow Residential, Simpson Housing and Pinnacle Residential Properties. Dow most recently served as Senior Vice President for FPI Management.
Blue Ridge Companies, a High Point, N.C.-based apartment management firm, promoted Tami Fossum, CAPS, to their corporate office. Fossum spearheads efforts to expand the company’s fee management portfolio, currently at approximately 9,000 units.
Principal Management Group, Houston, appointed Dora Parker as President and CEO. Parker is responsible for developer and client services, marketing and new business development, maintenance services, training and team building and the oversight of corporate programs. Parker has more than 20 years’ experience in the community management industry and was the original founder of PMG Houston when it was known as Parker Management Group.
