EPA Releases Lead-Paint Compliance Resources 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued several new and updated resources to help apartment firms comply with the lead-based paint Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rules. They include:

• An improved searchable database that allows users to identify EPA-certified RRP firms by name and location (http://cfpub.epa.gov/flpp/searchrrp_firm.htm).
• An updated database of Frequent Questions (FQ) that reflects recent regulatory changes. A searchable database (http://bit.ly/vP4r8k)  is available as well as a searchable PDF version (http://1.usa.gov/tF0K1n).
• A new fact sheet (http://1.usa.gov/rwUx0c) describing how the RRP applies to repairs and renovations done in response to natural disasters such as floods and hurricanes.
