The most widely used residential lease in the country expanded its operations to New York City, where it will be used by many prominent apartment firms such as UDR and Laramar Group.
The New York City lease was a significant addition due to its history of being a highly regulated jurisdiction. Corey Weiss, Esq., of Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP, and NAA’s Michael Semko Esq., meticulously reviewed the lease to ensure the utmost jurisprudence for rent-controlled jurisdictions in the state, including New York City.
Additionally, the National Lease Program’s Idaho lease debuted in June, making it the 42nd state to participate.
The National Lease Program, used by more than 14,000 communities nationwide, is a powerful and easy-to-use leasing technology system that allows an apartment community to save time and money by speeding up the preparation and printing of legal documents. The lease and accompanying addenda cover every aspect of the rental process and are reviewed by expert attorneys to ensure compliance with state laws and local regulations.
The National Lease Program is the most widely used residential lease in the country. Customer companies include some of the largest multifamily Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and privately held real estate firms in the nation. A NAA National Lease Program lease page is generated every second.
