Fogelman Management Group (FMG) promoted Melissa L. Smith to Executive Vice President, Internal Operations. Smith assumes overall corporate level leadership of FMG’s internal operating platform, which includes the following areas: human resources, IT, accounting, ancillary services, training and career development, marketing and budgeting. Smith is a 22-year veteran of the multifamily industry, including the past 13 at FMG.

Chad Christian has rejoined Riverstone Residential Group as a Senior Manager located in Austin, Texas. Christian was previously a Regional Supervisor for Orion Real Estate Services in Houston and previously worked for Riverstone Residential Group in the Southern California and Seattle markets.

Multifamily Technology Solutions, parent company of Internet listing service MyNewPlace.com, hired former BRE Properties executive Todd Katler as its Senior Vice President Sales and Client Services. Leveraging more than 15 years in the apartment industry, Katler is responsible for the development and execution of all sales and client services initiatives. Most recently, Katler served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for BRE Properties, Inc.

Apartment Finder promoted Patty Crawford to Vice President of National Partnerships. Crawford has worked the past 16 years at Apartment Finder, most recently as Vice President of Sales, East. Apartment Finder also promoted Michelle Childers, a 14-year employee, to Vice President, East. Childers was
formerly its Mid-South Regional Director.

RealPage appointed Kurt Twining to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer. In his new position, Twining will oversee employee recruitment, compensation, benefits, human resource management systems and organizational development. Twining has more than 30 years experience as a human resources executive.
