Coursework and a new professional designation program is now available to independent rental owners (IROs) through the NAA Education Institute.
The Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP) designation program is designed to give beginning and experienced rental owners who manage their personally held multifamily properties important information that will enable them to improve their bottom lines.
The IROP course will help owners:
• Improve operational efficiency;
• Learn industry best practices that have been perfected over time by regional and national apartment management companies;
• Comply with federal laws and regulations to avoid fines and penalties; and
• Increase net operating income and reduce overall costs.
The IROP designation/certificate is awarded after owners complete the course of study and pass the online exam. With the help of successful, experienced IROs who devoted their time and expertise to this program, this curriculum received an “insider’s view” of property ownership and management practices. Visit www.naahq.org/IROP for information.
