Two new conferences have been added to NAA’s lineup for 2011 through a joint venture with industry veteran Steve Lefkovits of Joshua Tree Consulting, based in Northern California.
The first is the Apartment Revenue Management Conference, the first education conference dedicated to multifamily revenue management strategies and techniques. It will be held Sept. 12-14, 2011, at the Marriott Park City in Park City, Utah.
Revenue management experts from both inside and outside the multifamily housing sector will educate attending apartment owners and managers about revenue optimization strategies to sustainably improve the financial performance of their portfolios.
“Apartment investment companies implementing revenue management systems typically see a revenue increase of 3 percent to 5 percent,” says Lefkovits, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the website MultifamilyRevenue.com. “Informed investors are demanding multifamily owners conduct due diligence on the topic since revenue-managed companies consistently generate greater profitability each quarter compared to those companies not utilizing revenue management systems.”
The conference will establish a forum where investors and owner/operators will gain invaluable insight regarding the effective implementation and operation of a community in a revenue-managed environment.
“Third-party property managers and multifamily property owners of all sizes will benefit from the broad and deep learning this conference will deliver,” says Doug Culkin, CAE, President and CEO of NAA.
Secondly, the Apartment Supplier Internet Marketing Conference will be held Dec. 7-9, 2011, in Silicon Valley at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, Calif. This conference is designed to help suppliers market to their clients and potential clients through electronic and social media-related avenues.
Social media, e-mail marketing, public relations, blogging, multimedia, website experience, CRM systems, pay-per-click, partner marketing and much more will be covered.
“This high-tech conference is a must-attend for every multifamily supplier and vendor,” Culkin says. “It will teach beginners and experts how to better use the Web to market to multifamily management and investment companies.”
