Greater Nashville Apartment Association Conducts Outreach for Flood Victims

 Marketing Insider

We need your help. The Greater Nashville Apartment Association (GNAA) partnered with national speaker and apartment industry marketing expert Toni Blake to establish The Apartment Angel Tree on May 5 using Facebook.com’s “community” pages. Within one week, nearly 1,000 people from across the country joined the page. As of late May, 1,200 had joined.

Apartment managers in the greater Nashville area send GNAA a list of needs for their residents along with a picture. GNAA posts their picture and their needs in a photo album on The Apartment Angel Tree Facebook page.

After needs have been posted, anyone from the community page can “adopt” that apartment community and their residents and donate necessary items by contacting the manager directly. Many residents do not have renter’s insurance, and those who have it are not covered by flooding.

Visit www.facebook.com/apartmentangeltree and click “like” by the title. This enables posted comments and interaction with other members. Managers in need of supplies should contact Rachel Allen at GNAA at rachelallen@nashvilleaptasn.org or call 615/365-3047.
