Lincoln Military housing, owner and manager of over 31,000 homes exclusively for military families, honored Customer Service Representative Joshua DeDecker as its Rookie of the Year 2009 for the Mid-Atlantic Region during a ceremony in February.
The award is given to an employee with fewer than six months tenure with the company who successfully excels at learning job responsibilities, maintains a positive attitude, is flexible and promotable, routinely supports Community Services events, and is truly committed to the company’s mission.
DeDecker attended the 2009 NAA Education Conference & Exposition through the Hire A Hero program, was subsequently interviewed by Lincoln Military Housing, and then hired in July.
Jim Brady, Regional Vice President for Lincoln Military Housing, said DeDecker’s commendable achievements are a true testimony to the success of this program.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to Hire A Hero for connecting us with Josh,” Brady said. “He is an outstanding associate and I’m proud that he is part of Lincoln’s great team.” Visit www.hireahero.org for details.
