Some enterprising children in my neighborhood started marketing their dog-walking service this week. They dropped off fliers to every single door, describing their service. But—and this is important—they made sure their flier stood out from the typical “paper spam” that floods most neighborhoods.
How? For one thing, the flier was wrapped up in a bow. I don’t know about you, but to me, everything (well, just about everything) is better when it’s wrapped up in a bow. And inside the flier? A dog biscuit.
They even obtained a gmail address that reflects their business: DogWalkersForYou@Gmail.com (or something similar; I’m not giving out their e-mail here).
How clever! How original! And how much better than so many of the apartment community fliers I run across in my travel throughout the country.
