ARLINGTON, Va. / Jan. 5, 2015 – The National Apartment Association (NAA), America’s leading advocate for quality rental housing, hired Susan Moseley, CAE, as Vice President of Business Development, effective today.
In this role, Moseley will be responsible for the ongoing management and development of new strategic partnerships through exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities at NAA’s conferences and expositions and the Open Door Affinity and 360° Sponsorship programs, as well as managing advertising sales for NAA's monthly magazine, units.
Moseley has extensive experience in both association and corporate marketing and sales, which will be of great benefit to NAA with its increased focus on enhancing current partnerships and developing new strategic partnerships to keep up with the unprecedented growth in multifamily housing and in NAA’s membership base.
Previously for four years, Moseley served as Vice President, Member Services Corporation, at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). While at NFIB, Moseley improved profitability and increased revenue by over 75 percent, and deployed strategies to increase member retention including launching multiple new products.

Prior to NFIB, Moseley spent 10 years as Chief Operating Officer at the American Dental Association’s for-profit subsidiary, ADA Business Enterprises, Inc. (ADABEI), where she led all operational, financial and strategic activity including relationship management of 15 endorsed companies. Previous experience includes stints at several Fortune 500 financial services companies (Mellon Bank, Sears, AT&T, Citicorp, Citibank) in marketing and management. Moseley received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Castleton State College in Vermont.
