ARLINGTON, Va. / Oct. 29, 2015 – The National Apartment Association awarded Marcia Bollinger, CAS, President, Apartment Finder, the Lifetime Achievement Award.
An active apartment housing industry member for over 30 years, Bollinger has shown unwavering support at the local, state and national levels.
“Marcia is a true cheerleader for the industry,” said Doug Culkin, CAE, President & CEO of the National Apartment Association. “She has been instrumental in NAA’s success and longevity, contributing countless hours and dollars in our early days when the association was struggling. Today NAA is flourishing, and we have Marcia to thank for her role in that success.”
Bollinger has served on more than 300 industry committees, including NAA’s Membership Growth Task Force, Conference Committee, Global Outreach Committee and PAC Ambassadors. A past NSC Chair, she earned the 2003 NSC PARAGON Award. With Bollinger at the helm, Apartment Finder has also been a leading sponsor of NAA’s annual conferences and expositions.
Locally, Bollinger has served on the Board of Directors for affiliate associations in Tulsa, Dallas, Texas and Atlanta. She encourages her employees to actively participate both locally and nationally.
Bollinger graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in public relations.
The NAA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes the contributions of NAA supplier partners and association executives for their long-term history of exemplary national service and accomplishments to the National Apartment Association and the apartment industry. Bollinger will be honored at the Leadership Summit Luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at the NAA Assembly of Delegates meeting in San Antonio, along with fellow recipient George Allen, CAE, EVP and CEO of the Texas Apartment Association.
