ARLINGTON, Va. / April 1, 2014 – Do you have what it takes to swim with The Sharks? Enter Sink or Swim: NAA Innovation Tank by Friday, May 2, and find out.

In this first of its kind National Apartment Association (NAA) event, the ABC reality hit TV show “Shark Tank” co-hosts Barbara Corcoran and Daymond John will judge live pitches from three innovative NAA attendees at the 2014 NAA Education Conference & Exposition Friday General Session on June 20, 2014 in Denver.

If you make the cut and are selected to make your pitch to The Sharks, you must convince the tough, self-made tycoons that your idea is a game changer. But if your idea is weak, you will face the tough criticism of real estate mogul Corcoran and venture capitalist John.

After the three pitches have been made and the audience has also voted, Corcoran and John, who’ve personally invested in dozens of entrepreneurs, will award one lucky winner $5,000 for their idea. The two runners-up will each receive a $750 Apple gift card.

All it takes is one great idea for a product or a business so show us what you’ve got. Submit a written proposal or shoot a five minute (or less) video showing us your best idea for a product or a business that is catered with the apartment resident in mind. We won’t share your idea with anyone until you present on stage.

Submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, May 2, 2014. Read the complete contest rules and eligibility.
