NAA Announces Promotions to Senior Staff Leadership Team

ARLINGTON, VA | January 11, 2022 – The National Apartment Association (NAA) has announced three internal promotions to the association’s senior staff leadership team. These promotions became effective January 1, 2022.

Ayiesha Beverly was promoted to General Counsel. Before joining NAA full-time in 2017, Beverly served as Senior Compliance Specialist for 2U, an education technology company, and as a real estate site acquisition specialist for several wireless carriers. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland and is a graduate of both North Carolina Central University School of Law and North Carolina State University. As General Counsel, Beverly will provide strategic guidance to the association’s leadership and ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.

Adriana Manea was promoted to Vice President, Finance. Manea joined NAA in 2006 as Cash Receipts Coordinator and most recently served as Assistant Vice President, Finance. Prior to joining NAA, she worked for Viami Software and attended the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania where she earned a bachelor’s in economy and business law. Manea will primarily oversee the financial records for NAA, NAA Services, the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) and NAAPAC in her new role.

Larissa Teelucksingh, CPA was promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance. Teelucksingh joined NAA as Coordinator of Cash Receipts in 2007 and most recently served as Vice President, Finance. She is a graduate of both Barnard College, where she earned a bachelor’s in mathematics, and the University of Maryland, where she earned her MBA and master’s in finance. In her new role, Teelucksingh will provide leadership in budget preparation and financial management, advise senior leadership on funding strategies and lead all functions of financial planning, reporting and analysis.
