Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA)
Despite today’s tough economy, the residential property management industry continues to provide talented and dedicated individuals with amazing career opportunities that have upward growth potential and are transferable across the country. Practically everywhere you go you find apartment communities. With a career in leasing, maintenance and management, you’ll find it much easier to find a job in a new location because skilled leasing consultants, maintenance technicians and property managers are always in demand.
What is MyCAA?
The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Program is a career development and employment assistance program sponsored by the Department of Defense (DoD). MyCAA helps military spouses pursue a license, certificate, certification or Associate’s Degree necessary for gainful employment in a high demand, high growth portable career field and occupation.
The MyCAA program provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance with up to $2,000 a year to eligible military spouses for education and training. Approved National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) designation programs are:*:
