In 2010, the NAA Education Institute announced the first-ever National RPM Careers Month. National RPM Careers Month was created to bring awareness and promote the attractive and recession-resistant careers in the apartment industry.
RPM Careers Month also encourages hiring personnel, whether they are onsite managers or corporate human resources managers, to evaluate this talent more effectively, exploring core competencies and not just looking for previous apartment industry experience.
Who can participate in National RPM Careers Month?
Anyone can participate in National RPM Careers Month. Apartment community staff, apartment management companies, hiring personnel and NAA affiliates are all encouraged to participate in creating awareness about careers in the apartment industry.
February is #RPMcareers month, a time to promote our industry and showcase its many opportunities. The National Apartment Association Education Institute’s (NAAEI) new comprehensive RPMcareers.org website makes it easy to educate the public about the residential property management industry, while attracting new talent to join us.

Take a #RPMcareers selfie using the #RPMcareers card and share what you love about our industry on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn . Be sure to post your pic starting February 1 and use the #RPMcareers hashtag.
