NAA/NMHC and NAA affiliates have launched a new phase of the joint PR campaign targeting policymakers, called “Apartments. We Live Here.” The campaign includes the largest media outreach ever with more than 40 NAA affiliated associations generating media coverage about apartments’ economic impact in their cities and states. The campaign also includes the newly updated and enhanced website, www.WeAreApartments.org., and retooled calculator, the Apartment Community Estimator (ACE). To reinforce apartments’ importance, NAA/ NMHC created a new series of print and digital ads that show the diverse range of renters today. These ads and other resources will be made available to affiliates to customize in their markets.
