Digested From "Apartment Complex Goes Green"

Pikeview Manor Apartments is the first multifamily housing community in Beckley, W.Va., to team up with the Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority to recycle. The move comes after numerous Pikeview residents expressed an interest in the recycling program. Pikeview resident Anita Davis states, "It's something I hope that other apartment [communities], even neighborhoods will start doing. If they see it more commonplace, I think a lot more people will join in." Pikeview is one of Beckley's largest apartment communities.
