Digested From "Maine Companies Face EPA Fines"

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) last week filed complaints against eight companies owned by a couple of Maine-based developers, charging them with not adequately disclosing the presence of lead paint in various apartment communities. The complaints allege companies managed by developers Travis Soule and Lee and Steve Griswold failed to alert residents that lead paint was or could have been present where they knew young children were residing. In both cases, the defendants have 30 days to answer the complaints or they could be found in default.
