 Supplies of R-22 Refrigerant Reported Limited; Price Hikes Anticipated

Suppliers have alerted a number of apartment firms to expect higher costs for R-22 refrigerant because of very limited supplies.  R-22 is being phased out because of ozone-destroying properties but the scarcity was not expected.  R-22 can only be used in existing equipment through 2020.
