Government Affairs

NAA and its Affiliates monitor legislation and regulations in all 50 states and shares that information with local and state affiliate staff. NAA, through the Joint Legislative Program with the National Multi Housing Council, protects and represents your interests with regard to legislative and regulatory issues at the federal government level.

2009 National Government Affairs Roundtable
The 2009 National Government Affairs Roundtable is coming to San Francisco from August 5-7, 2009. This event is a great way to get informed about major legislative issues - including housing, property management and insurance - that are being addressed by states and municipalities.

Registration for the event is $179 per attendee. Register online or download the event flyer here.

This year's roundtable is sponsored by the Coalition for Better Housing, San Francisco Apartment Association and the California Apartment Association.

NAA/NMHC Joint Legislative Program

The NAA and the NMHC unite to support legislative and regulatory policies that enable the nation's 25 million multifamily rental housing units to continue to provide high quality homes that remain accessible and affordable.

The NAAPAC seeks to support Congressional candidates who represent good government and understand the needs and concerns of the multifamily housing industry.
