 NAA/NMHC Seek Input into Federal Proposal to Sell Foreclosed Houses as Rental Stock 

The Obama Administration is considering plans to sell federally owned foreclosed houses to investors who would then rent them out.  NAA/NMHC are evaluating this proposal.  To inform our effort, we are seeking your input.  To take the three-question survey, click here.

Additional Information

On August 10, 2011, the Obama Administration issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking ideas to help dispose of the current and future single-family real estate owned inventory of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the FHA.  The RFI asks for comments on possible sales, joint ventures or other strategies.
